The Palau de la Musica Catalana is the number one rated show venue in Barcelona on TripAdvisor.  The theater received a 2016 Travelers Choice Award from TripAdvisor.  It is such a remarkable place that you can take tours of just the concert hall during the day. Tickets for this show range in price from 20-50 Euros and you can purchase them online. There is a 3 euro transaction fee per order.

Tickets:

1)      Go to http://www.barcelonayflamenco.com/gran-gala-flamenco/?lang=en

2)      Put the cursor over “SHOWS”.  Choose “Gran Gala Flamenco”

3)      Go to the 14 September show, and select “VIP – €50” and click “buy now”. 

4)      In the text box to the left of the “Apply Coupon” button, enter “jconference”.  Not “tmjconference”! 

5)      Click “Apply Coupon”.  This will give a 20% discount!

6)      Enter ticket quantity.

7)      Click “Update Cart”

Barcelona City Tour

For those of you who have not heard of Free Walking Tours, it is a phenomenon in most of the large tourist cities around the world.  It allows you the luxuries of a private tour guide without the huge cost. The concept is that you go on a "free" tour with a tour guide then you tip based on how good the guide is.  The reviews for this tour in Barcelona are very good, so chances are it will be worth it.  The Gothic Quarter Tour is the most general tour of the tourist area of Barcelona.  You must register online.  This tour is offered at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
